Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr.: Citizen Printer is a major solo exhibition featuring the print works from notable printer Amos Kennedy, Jr. The exhibition includes a wide variety of printed artifacts that contain church fans, state maps, postcards and oversized posters that demonstrate his fight for
civil rights. Among the works featured in the show are some of his lesser known artists’ books that showcase his early start with letterpress printing and bookbinding. These early works are significant in highlighting the rich cultural traditions of Black printing and the importance of Black authorship.

About the Series
Public Programs and Events @ The Farm nurtures curiosity and catalyzes conversation for people of all backgrounds, while fostering community with visitors and neighbors. Each year we invite authors, artists, musicians, politicians, business leaders, historians, and intellectuals to Church Farm School's Chester County campus. The series not only curates opportunities for dialogue between the boys and the broader community right in our backyard, but also shapes the world into which we will send this next generation of diverse leaders.

Church Farm School awards nearly $7M in student scholarships and tuition assistance every year. Proceeds from Public Program and Events @ The Farm support this commitment to educational access.
