As the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Church Farm School from 1996-2010, Eric Horsey trained, motivated and developed athletes to reach their optimal potential. He also led the development of the school's Indoor Track program. During Eric's tenure, the CFS Cross Country team had more than 50 wins and the Track and Field team had more than 100. His teams’ accolades included being named the Outstanding High School Team at the Hampton Relays in 2004, winning the KSAC Championships in 1998, 2001 and 2003, PIAA District 1-AA Championships in 2009, and Independent School State Championships in 2004 and 2005. In 2001, Eric was named the Philadelphia Inquirer's Delaware Valley Coach of the Year and in 2004 and 2009, he was named the Coach of the Year by the Daily Local News. Regardless of who was on the team or their athletic ability, Eric was able to unify them with his genuine dedication, perseverance and commitment, along with his distinctive voice.
