When Nana Atakora-Bediako '09 graduated, he had earned 11 varsity letters across four different sports. He was a gifted cross country runner before switching to soccer and becoming a two-year varsity starter. On the wrestling mat, he eclipsed 80 career wins, was a three-time league champion and was one of the school’s first PIAA Regional qualifiers. Nana’s greatest accomplishments, however, were for the school’s track & field program; during his senior year, he earned District Championships in both the long jump and triple jump, and secured Church Farm’s first PIAA medal in any sport by placing second in the state in the triple jump. Nana’s school triple jump record of 46’5.5” stands to this day.
